Abstract

The extensive Files of Accounts of the Treasurer of Queen Mary of Hungary and other documents with unpublished news on her collection of sculptures and antiquities are analyzed. The mayority of these were sent to Aranjuez. They complete those that were already studied of her Inventory of Goods. We emphasize those which refer to the stock of marble that was in Cádiz, the purchase of antique objects in Mérida and a set of old bronze sculptures, such as the Aulo Publicio, the famous Jiingling of Vienna, or the ancient lady that was identified with the Venus, that was attributed to the Ammannatti of the Prado, and an oval relief of the Emperor, without doubt a work by Leon Leoni and others.
