A contribution to the iconography of Murillo’s pictorial series for cloister of the entrance hall in the Casa Grande of Saint Francis in Seville

This paper proposes a possible identification of the subject represented in a painting that belong to the pictorial series made by Murillo around the year 1645 for the/entrance hall’s cloister in the Casa Grande of Saint Francis in Seville. Then the implications of this identifications are discussed.
