Abstract

The author presents an analysis of the aesthetic relationship between the sculptural works of Pablo Gargallo and Cubist literature, photography and cinema. Pierre Reverdy’s poetic theory, the solutions of light and shadow found in photography, film editing and film close-ups are all key references for understanding the work of this sculptor.
