This article proposes a study of the relationships between the art critic Enrico Crispolti and the informalist painters Antonio Saura, Manolo Millares and Rafael Canogar. The foundations of this study are, on the one hand, the contents of the (unpublished) correspondence between them and, on the other, the critic’s analysis of the work of these artists.
