Archivo Español de Arte renews the FECYT’s Quality Seal, with Mention of Good Practices in Gender Equality.

Archivo Español de Arte has renewed the Quality Seal awarded by the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT) for another year. This recognition, which Archivo Español de Arte first obtained in 2009, certifies the quality of the editorial practices of Spanish scientific publications.

This year, our journal has also been recognized with the Mention of Good Editorial Practices in Gender Equality, which indicates compliance with the guidelines on gender equality promoted by the FECYT and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Among the requirements for this mention are having at least 40% of women in both the editorial team and the list of external reviewers, recommendations for non-sexist language use, the inclusion of the full names of published authors, and the recommendation to report on potential gender differences in studies that include the gender variable in their research.
