The influence of engraving on the compositions and designs of many artistic creations is evident and well known. This article focuses on a series by Bernard Salomon. Salomon can be regarded as one of the most relevant engravers who, trough the editions done by Jean Tounes in Lyon, was to have a strong effect on the work of Limoges enamelleres in the sixteen century. The study is carried out by looking at some pieces by Pierre Reymond now in the Thyssen Bomemisza collection.
