National Library in Madrid has recently acquired a magnificent drawing corresponding to an ephemeral decoration, which was virtually unedited, since its location has been unknown from 1926 when the Antique Madrid Exhibition was held, until its recent appearance in Feriarte. In the present paper the formal, stylistic, and specially iconography aspects of this important drawing are analyzed, which lead the author to consider it as a project for one of the ephemeral architectures built for the celebration of Philip V royal entry to the Court on 1701, probably of José de Churriguera.
