Toward the end of the 15th century a broad process of architectural renovation was begun in the dominions of the Military Orders, which profoundly transformed the extant panorama. This study deals with this process in the countryside denominated Campo de Calatrava between 1500 and 1570, by focusing on the main works in the region, specifying when they were built and indicating the masters who worked on them.
