An unpublished replica by Zurbarán of a Saint Carmelo

The recent appearance of a replica of an unpublished painting by Zurbarán of Saint Carmelo allows for the reconstruction of the De Profundis hall of the Convent of Shod Mercedarians in Seville. Originally this painting was paired there with Saint Serapis, today in the Wadsworth Atheneum of Hartford, Connecticutt (USA).
