Abstract

The author attempts to outline the profile of a practically unknown sculptor, Fernando del Cid, who worked in Madrid during second half of the 18th century, as well as in other places in Spain. He includes a minimal catalogue of the artist’s works, over half of them newly attributed, with certain reservations.
