Abstract


New paintings from the end of the 15th century till the end of the 16th century are studied.They were made by well-known painters from the Low Countries: Ambrosius Benson, Adrian Isenbrant, Gerard David and Peter Fourbus, of the School of Bruges and other paintings by: Albert Bouts, the Master of the Female Half-Lengths, Peter Huys and Frans Francken the elder.
