The discovery of a series of photographs of a lost fresco in the Castle of Soutomaior (Pontevedra) indicates that the Legend of Saint George and the Dragon was painted on one of the interior walls of the old fortress. This investigation posits that its creator was the Valencian painter Joaquín Sorolla.
